I always carry a sketchbook on my travels which will ultimately lead to creating larger works when I return to my home studio. I also take pocket size sketch ‘strips’ which fold zig-zag style – great for panoramas of the landscape. I add hard covers once home so they can be displayed – a unique gift.

I travelled to Morocco with a group of artists which culminated in a
group exhibition in 2012 at the Cooroy Butter Factory Gallery.

Africa is a favourite destination. I’m passionate about all wildlife which is a bonus to draw ‘in situ’ – often in 10 second grabs before they move!!

Antarctica and The Arctic also inspired with the breathtaking shapes and expanses of ice ….. and of course, the wildlife.
